Radio KFWB 980 in LA broadcasting "Muslim Call to Prayer" and in need of some SERIOUS FReeping

I had just left Lenscrafters in San Bernardino and was enjoying my new bifocals and a nice cold Coke when something happened that made me spew my coke all over my dashboard. KFWB broadcast a MUSLIM CALL TO PRAYER complete with the Imam wailing away and some local Muslim cleric explaining thet it was a call to prayer for Muslims. Guy then goes into the standard spiel about how Islam is the "most tolerant of religions" and respects other religions and Jesus and we all worship the same God etc etc. And we all know what a crock of lies that is.

This happened just before 5:00 pm today and it sounded like they've been doing it all through Ramadan.

To each his own but I went to their contact page (link below and above) and shotgunned everyone on it with my feelings about them hawking Islam (Ramadan or no) and enlightened them with the TRUTH about Islam and I encourage everyone who feels the same to do the same. Just click below and fire away!

Wow. This has GOT to be the biggest instance of PKB* I have seen in a looooooooooooong time. Remember when you called me a bigot the other day, because I expressed an opinion about treating all religions equally?

PKB, my friend.

If you value the constitution then you will shut up on this. If you succeed in stopping a call to prayer during Ramadan then you can expect a similar action when a station plays Christmas carols or wishes everyone a Happy Easter.

You'll have to excuse EUPHORIC - you will most likely be called a "bigot" for saying what you just said...

...because EUPHORIC believes that all other religions have no place in american society, and that the preaching of Christianity is the only religious message that should ever be broadcast, publicized, or tolerated by Americans - and if you don't agree to that, you are a bigot.

You might be correct or maybe just a tad insensitive.
First of all Christians and Jews do not go into Muslim country's and announce a 9/11 Jihad. In fact you are in grave danger in those countries if you proclaim any other faith than ISLAM.
Our country is based on the principles of Judeo-Christian thelogy, no where have we ever based our country by any Islamic principles.
Before 9/11 Muslims had every right in the world here to own there own business, make tons of money in the height of Technology and go to our schools, and the thanks we have gotten is our throats cut. Our soldiers are dying daily in Iraq in the name of ISLAM.
I am sorry I am sick and tired of americans always hving to be tolerant, forget it. I don't beleive in violence twoards anyone, but I sure the heck do not want to hear a call to a Muslim Prayer which is founded on violence over our american air-waves.

Muhammed's call to be a prophet took place when he was 40 years of age, he was going to a mountain cave called Ghar Hira for meditation when an angel later identified as "Gabriel" commanded him to recite the name of ALLAH, because Muhammed failed to respond the angel caught him forcefully and pressed him so hard that he could not bear it anymore. The Angel repeated the command again and Muhammed still failed to react so the angel CHOKED HIM! This happened 3 times before Muhammed started to recite what came to be the first in a series that constitutes the Qur'an. Since Muhammed did not know how to read everything he learned had to be from memory which Mulsims practice to this day. How in the world do we think that we can ever have PEACE with a faith that believes this way.

Last time I checked, they still had that right.

Those who paint all Muslims (friend and foe alike) are just doing the bidding of Al Queda--perpetuating a clash of civilizations and legitimizing Bin Laden's call for Muslims to hate the West.

Irrational venting is not the way to win against terror.

I am not trying to insult you and if you feel the need to do that go right ahead, but you have your head in the sandbox.
I do not wish harm to anyone, but I am attacking the faith of ISLAM because it has fooled the people. After 9/11 I read about this faith and it is not a religion of PEACE that is not what it's about, maybe you need to read about ISLAM beofre you defend it.

WHy not? They broadcast christian servicews and other stuff over some airwaves - and many so-called christians have also engaged in violence, such as Abortion Clinic bombings, murders etc...

I don't believe those people represent all christians in this country, and I don't believe that islamic fundamentalist terrorists represent all Muslims in this country - but according to your view, if a number of religious adherents resort to violence, then it invalidates the whole of the religion. That means, according to you, Christianity is ALSO invalid, and should be stopped. Right?

So tell me how do you defend a faith that truly believes the West and Israel should be annihilated.

Is that the whole faith, or just some of the people who allegedly practice it?

"This is so sickening...not here in America."

If not here, then where?

"This is where thousands came to escape the evils of Islam and now it's on the airwaves."

This is where millions came to escape the evils of religious persecution, or evil people using religion to persecute.

This is where the idea of Islam being a "religion of peace" will either thrive and overcome the evils of the Jihadists, or die forever, drawing the world into an interminable religious conflict.

The idea is to uphold religious freedom for all here, to be the banner for those looking for haven, sanctuary, and peace to worship, and to support those who want to rip Islam out of the hands of they who would use the Qu’ran as an instrument for domination and oppression.

The real fight is to overcome their ideology with ours, and ours has always been freedom.

There is no faith calling for the annihilation of the West and Israel. There are political forces misusing a valid religion for their nefarious purposes. Whether you want to or not, your words are helping them.

Anybody who uses a faith of PEACE which Christianity is does not believe in violence of anykind, Just because wolves is sheep's clothing are hiding behind the blanket of Christianity to claim there evil deeds does not mean they are doing it for Christian purposes.

ISLAM does teach violence it is part of there teachings.

"Our country is based on the principles of Judeo-Christian."

Our country has always been based on the principles of freedom of speech, thought, religion, association...freedom.

To make the claim that our country was based on the principles of Judeo-Christianity would be making the argument that our country was founded on the principles of religious intolerance, which as we all know, is the absolute end result of any government based on strict theocratic principles.

"Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law." (Matt. 10:34-35)

There are many violent exhortations in the Old Testament, as well. Take your bigotry elsewhere.
