'Turks killing fellow Muslims. What could be worse?'

Nonsense: what could be better...enough said.

I work with some Turks.

They want the guilty perps punished.

They are a little 'wobbly' on execution, but from what I have read, life imprisonment in a Turkish prison is no picnic.

The Turks called the bombers "monsters". I'm not sure how much that means in turkish, but it was not a statement of support.

The Turks I work with are total computer geeks, they can make any computer sit up and beg. They ain't stupid.

By the way, every last one of them came to me on 09/11/01 and told me how wrong it was. One of them (the Kurdish Turk) asked me if I was to be alright. I was leaking big tears at that time.

My reply; "Not now, but I will be alright later."

Credit must go to the organized secular nature of Turkish society that more of this hasn't occurred in the past. For very many Muslims of certain types, Sharia, for example, is quintessentially both Islamic and bloody.

These terrorists are beginning to become very un-popular...perhaps that will work to our benifit. If they are killing Arabs and Muslims, then the support they had from these groups has turned into anger and revenge.

The Koran commands devout muslims to kill peaceful muslims even before the "spawn of pigs and monkeys" and other infedels. Such is their holy scripture.

The al- Qa'ida dosn't give a damn about public relations. They want to be feared by one and all. I'd also also think that fear is an element of ther recruitment. "Join us and you won't get bombed, unless you're the trigger man."

'Turks killing fellow Muslims. What could be worse?'

How about radical Wahabbist a-holes killing fellow muslims because they aren't radical enough? That's how it's been for hundreds of years, but now that things change, see how they cry.
