We need more well trained sniper teams on the loose. The last thing an "insurgent" wants is a highly motivated sniper team looking to kill him. It only takes a few good examples to plant the seeds of serious fear.

Sounds like a plan, however where does one place them?

These terrorists aren't tree's!

They do move around, and in numbers, simultaneously.

The major obsticle, IMHO, is the well founded concern for collateral damage, otherwise this conflict would be very short lived.

Snipers aren't the issue, for if we used snipers, that means we know where the terrorists are and who they are.

If that was the case this conflict would have been completed and wrapped up long ago.
