Michael Jackson Calls Allegations False and Scurrilous

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Michael Jackson's spokesman said Wednesday that allegations of child molestation against the singer were false, scurrilous and totally unfounded.

"The outrageous allegations against Michael Jackson are false. Michael would never harm a child in any way. These scurrilous and totally unfounded allegations will be proven false in a courtroom," spokesman Stuart Backerman said in a statement.

The statement was issued after California law enforcement authorities announced that Jackson was facing multiple charges of child molestation and that the singer had been ordered to surrender.

Backerman said Jackson had made arrangements with the District Attorney in Santa Barbara, central California, to return to the city "to immediately confront and prove these charges unfounded."

Jackson was in Las Vegas shooting a music video when police swooped on his Neverland ranch near Santa Barbara Tuesday to execute a search warrant in connection with their criminal investigation.

Alright, how many of you read the phrase "False and Scurrilous" in your internal Michael Jackson voice?

I guess it all depends on how you define "harm". Pedophiles typically convince themselves that their actions are beneficial to their victims.

Michael should hire James Carville as his PR manager/attack dog.

This may be far fetched, if only because everyone has made up their mind, but the cat wouldn't be surprised if our Peter Pan turned out to be a eunuch (no, this time I don't mean a user of the EUNUCHS operating system) and his relationships with these kids have been asexual.

That putrid rotting POS just doesn't get it and never will.

He needs to be staked out on Fire Ant Hill and be forgotten about already.

Speaking at a D.C. function, Vice President Al Gore, wowed by the Bulls, said: "I tell you that Michael Jackson is unbelievable, isn't he. He's just unbelievable." (Source: The Chicago Tribune June 17, 1998)

Some think Al Gore was talking about Michael Jordan, but maybe not. So, the Big Questions are, What does Al Gore know, When did he know it, and How does he know it?

We all know that Big Al has a proclivity to show off in public with agonizingly long French-kisses when his campaign needs help, but what did he do to raise funds this time?

Jackson is a complete idiot. He may be a talented man but he is not very bright (if innocent). Why after a false charge of sexual abuse would you continue and admit having slumber parties with poor kids and be alone with kids at all? Where were his advisors or his family? They should've been advising him to not even allow kids on his property, he is such a huge target. He should've been advised to only meet kids in public places to take pictures only and he could still give money to needy kids etc. Total insanity! Maybe he is guilty and he just couldn't help himself that is what explains this naive and ambivalent approach he has concerning protection from allegations.

"I guess it all depends on how you define "harm". Pedophiles typically convince themselves that their actions are beneficial to their victims. "

When I first heard the lawyers statement .. that was my first thought.. if you read from the 1993 declaration of J. Chandler..

" 10. The next step was when Michael Jackson put his tongue in my mouth. I told him I did not like that. Michael Jackson started crying. He said there was nothing wrong with it. He said just because most people believe something is wrong, doesn't make it so."

Jackson has convinced himself that it isn't wrong therefore doing it can't 'harm' a child.
