Jodi is a devout Catholic in name only. There are literally thousands of Catholics who still consider themselves Catholic, and all the while they speak up for things that are totally against the Church teachings. The first that comes to mind is abortion. If you've ever heard of "Catholics for a Free Choice", they are a prime example of a group that calls themselves Catholic, but are way out of line with Catholic doctrine. Tom Daschle and Ted Kennedy are but a couple of other prominent names that like to consider themselves Catholic, but should be being refused communion, if their priests have any guts. Whether Jodi describes herself as Catholic is simply her own opinion. My opinion is vastly different from hers.
