And, no, I don't endorse Streisand's shrill ignorance about AIDS, governmental action (or inaction), and Reagan's response -- but neither is it appropriate to condemn those who are ill from this disease. Or from having the viral precursor to it, as Jason Gould does (and not AIDS). Does everyone who touches his or her nose after being out touching surfaces in public deserve to be condemned for having the influenza virus? Criticized for stupidity, yes. That's not the same issue.
