Rush's comment doesn't say anything about his marriage. He's learned he has to put his recovery above everything else - because if he doesn't stay clean he won't be any good to himself or others. It's not a comment about his relationships.

Sobriety is a big adjustment - Marta may need to go to a support group for families.
