I remember really looking forward to mail call on deployments, especially on or around the holidays.

God speed indeed, FirstSgt.

Done last week -- 3 boxes with Christmas lights, tinsel, Rice Krispy treats and 13 stuffed stockings plus a huge package of peppermints. I'm issuing a friendly challenge -- try to beat that. I hope someone does -- our troops will be the winners!!

To: Coop; anyone
I have tried a few different web site for names and address of service people. I have come up empty handed. I would like to send two more packages out. Does anyone have a contact ? All of the guys I was sending to have come home now, and I don't have any personal contacts over there.

If anyone is interested, I will give you Mike's address. He is a 1sgt for two Chinook Co's and he could hand out any goodies sent his way....freepmail me if interested.....this is the Company that lost a Chinook several weeks ago killing 3 crewmembers...a morale booster is in order.

In response to your other thread - wanting to ship donated items to Landstuhl, Germany - browse through here. You'll probably find the resources you need. Boxerblues or mystery-ak may also be able to help.
