"I've never seen this on a college campus before: They were applauding Saddam Hussein,"... Does anyone here have any details of this or is this simply hyperbole by Ann?

Does anyone here have any details of this or is this simply hyperbole by Ann? I'd guess hyperbole. You can't even get the leftist twits at SDSU to applaud Saddam.

"How many normal females are going to want to stand up and be called a Nazi and a racist?" Ann needs to add "neanderthal" to the list.

In strict accordance with the FR by-laws, section 4, paragraph 8, which strictly states that any mention of our beloved Ann Coulter must include her picture, I propher the following image for your exclusive viewing pleasure.

I don't have any details EveningStar, but believe me, if Saddam Hussein is applauded anywhere in the US it would be in the People's Republic of Boulder.

There's a big difference to come out and crack jokes that have some sort of meaning. Yeah, we leftists prefer jokes that make no sense at all.

"It's one thing to talk about liberals or conservatives," said Kerry Kite, CU's diversity director. "There's a big difference to come out and crack jokes that have some sort of meaning. But to just defame other cultures and ethnicities is just plain ignorant." I know, I know, what I'm about to say is not exactly on point. However, it's been said before but it must be pointed out again, that liberals have had no problem defaming conservatives for years. I realize that conservatives are not as such a "culture" or "ethnicity," but the defamation is still inexcusable. That being said, I wish "Diversity Director" Kite would have pointed out an example of the defamation. This is assuming of course, that Kite may have provided an example but it was left out of the article.

They were applauding Saddam Hussein," she said after her speech. "I was a little taken aback." The enemies of America and Israel are leftists' best friends, so this really isn't too surprising.

Thank God Ann is willing to put up with the brain drained and is reaching many young minds full of mush. I hope she will continue making many more college tours.

"How many normal females are going to want to stand up and be called a Nazi and a racist?" said the conservative author and columnist. "As luck would have it, I happen to enjoy it. ... It perks me up to see liberals have nothing in the arsenal."
"About 2,000 people filled the University of Colorado's Macky Auditorium on Thursday night to hear Coulter criticize Democrats in light of the war in Iraq. About half hissed and booed, and the other half laughed at her prickly humor and thanked her with a standing ovation."
Ann Coulter......That's my girl....! Marvelous!!! (applause, applause) Truth be told to these libs and they can stand the truth!

Uh, yeah Kerry Kite. Like defaming the Huns, Mongols, Nazis, Khymer Rouge, Wahhabis, etc. What an @sshole. What the hell does a "diversity director" do to justify his/her salary ANYWAY???? Is this like a "Politcal Commissar" in Stalin's army??
The U.S. is really a society in serious trouble.
Right on Ann Coulter - you are bright, beautiful, brainy and have guts. We need more like you who have the courage to venture into the viper's dens that leftist professors and administrators and political activists turned America's Campuses into in the 1960's and on into the present.

"It's one thing to talk about liberals or conservatives," said Kerry Kite, CU's diversity director. "There's a big difference to come out and crack jokes that have some sort of meaning. But to just defame other cultures and ethnicities is just plain ignorant." The CU Cultural Events Board organized the event.
Getting ready to pull the plug on allowing conservatives to speak, I see. All cultures and ethnicities must be allowed to promote their views, except for white Americans -- who created the one culture on Earth that promoted freedom of speech and individual freedom. All cultures and ethnicites are immune from criticism, except for white Americans -- who promoted the idea of racial and gender equality in a world where every nation in all of history treated other races and women as subhuman.
This is a corollary of the ancient proverb, "No good deed goes unpunished."

"You can't make a viewpoint with one side. You have to understand the other side, too," he said." There is hope for this kid.
"Coulter criticized most of the crowd's questions, calling them not intelligent or thoughtful."
Annie girl; you rock! ROTFLMBO! Now if we could just get our politicians to be that intellectually honest.
"I go to these college campuses and I'm witnessing a breakdown in cognitive thought," she said."
"There's a big difference to come out and crack jokes that have some sort of meaning. But to just defame other cultures and ethnicities is just plain ignorant."
I think the educated fool just made Ann's point.

I wouldn't mind seeing some "diversity" of opinion on this thread. ;)

It's always good to hear from that hotbed of diversity - Boulder; where the town is 90% white and the college is 87% white.

"But to just defame other cultures and ethnicities is just plain ignorant."
Kerry Kite, CU's diversity director.
Isn't that passive voice?
