I don't believe citizens should lose their Constitutional rights any more than I believe the so-called "Constitutional" argument being made FOR the foreign terrorists held at Gitmo.

No portion of the Consitution has ever been "temporarily set aside". Changes are and were permanent even before 9/11/01 whether Consitutitional or not.

Lincoln defied a SCOTUS ruling and suspended Habeus Corpus for the duration of the War of Northern Aggression.
