Question. Someone told me that the Republicans blocked more than 100 of Clinton's nominations. I am assuming that each of these was blocked in an up or down vote. Is this correct?

Incorrect. Every Clinton nominee that was reported out of the Judiciary Committee receieved a floor vote, and were all confirmed. Those that were "blocked" were never reported out of committee, and the majority of them were appointments advanced in the last few months of Bubba's tenure.

The ones that made it out of committee, yes.

No one has ever been denied the up or down vote once it reached the floor.

Until last year.
