We were there also till 11p ... looked like a good turnout of various groups, like FR and CR, YR, etc. It was difficult to tell, tho, who was who .. maybe for the future, we could wear some lapel pin or hat or something subtle to identify ourselves? hahaa, maybe a secret handshake?

It was VERY exciting to be there.. we saw our two Senators, Allen and Warner. I was really proud of both (which I don't often say of the latter). Am planning to return tomorrow night with teenage son who's shown interest.

God bless all the folks who organized this, the staffers putting in the long hours, our Senators and especially our fabulous president.

Some of us had our FReeper jackets on with FreeRepublic.com on the back. Unfortunately, I think that the buttons with www.freerepublic.com at the bottom had to be taken off before entering the Gallery.

Sorry I missed meeting you. Now I'd better get some sleep because I have to go to work in the morning.
