You must be from the South...... Only southerners know that you 'pitch a fit' and 'have a coniption'
Midwest raised and we used those terms. Not a southern thing!

In Baltimore we throw a fit.

Reid (D-NV) filibustered on Monday for 8 hours, including reading chapters from a book he wrote.

Hutchison is okay, but the Pubbies need an attack dog out there to counter what Durbin said. The Pubbies are hopeless!Wait for the first string.!Sen. Sessions, Rick Santorum, and the freshman Sen. Saxby Chambliss. When this first started Rick Santorum made one of the most eloquent rebuttal speeches I have ever heard. Norm Coleman is no slouch either.!!

I think I will repeat it hourly to prove how out of touch he is with the American people.

Any list of Senate attack dogs must include the junior Senator from Missouri, Mr. Talent.
He's good.

"You hear Bayh talking about this time is making the Senate look bad, what a numbnut! Duh it is, it's calls attention to what time-wasters you idiots are! "
We didn't need this "talkathon" to make the dems look bad, they do that everyday without any help from us. The point of the 30 hrs is to make the public more aware of just how long the dems have been wasting tax payers dollars with partisan politics. 2 1/2 yrs , thats how long some of these nominations have been obstructed by the dems. Thats how long the dems have held the business of the country hostage. It isn't surprising the dems are whining about having attention drawn to their tactics.
