If more people paid attention there would be no need for this thread! That's what I was thinking...WE have known about the obstruction of judicial nominees for months. The rest of the country has not - the question is, will they know tomorrow?

Sen. Evan Bayh engaging liberal demagoguery.
Tried to switch Senate to legislative session. Hutchison objected. Same bill as Durbin. I guess this will be a pattern for the Democrats to try and say the Republicans are not wanting to take up the issues that "really matter".

Before the Senate votes on anything they have to have a "unanimous consent" to calling the vote. If one Senator objects, then there is a call for Cloture, which is a decision that requires 2/3s of the Senators to agree.
So without the votes of 60 senators a vote that only requires 51 ayes to pass, cannot be held. This has never been done for judges before these dems started with Pres Bush's nominees.

Bayh says few people are listening...call, call, call. The Democrats have no idea who is listening and how absurd the American people think it is to have the minority holding up the will of the majority.

The poll should read 100% in the end for a vote.
If it's a duty, it's not an option.
Usual stupid poll.

Well, y'all it's been a hoot, but I'm signing off, the dems are going to be up for 1/2 hr.
Time to play some SOCOM II on my PS2.(Great game I might add, very PRO-USA)
I'm sure there will be plenty of fireworks tommorow while I'm at work (Ha! Like I'm going to get anything done).
HEY C-span has a time clock up now.
They need a countDOWN clock so we know when it's safe to turn it back when the dems are done yacking.
