Wow... what does one say to that.
To: Bush_Democrat; Poser
Found it, the master of this game was Poser! IIRC, I think he managed to get the whole collection.
Back to your regularly scheduled Democrat Obstructionism
To: Howlin
Just got on the computer and I'm watching on CSPAN.com. Is it over?

The funny thing is the John Rob had to "fix" FR to extend the post limit for this thread. It had died at around 28,000 posts when the limit was met.

I believe Ben Nelson and Zell Miller supported Estrada.
Anybody know if its over or not?
To: Angelwood; Aquamarine; Pippin
aqua and pippin, per your request, pinging you to the live filibuster thread -- read Angelwood's post here that I'm replying to for a good summary of what the DC Chapter did
To: WhiteGuy
What are you people talking about........Trying to keep you from getting 7000. :-)
To: ClancyJ
Isn't this kinda like what the pigs did in the book "Animal Farm"? The animals couldn't read the rules and the pigs would sneak in at night and change the rules just enough to fool the animals. The people of America don't know the constitution and the dims (with help from media) are trying to amend the constitution without the congress and 3/4 of the states ratification.
To: Judith Anne
Yeah, just remind me I owe you one! Non-transferrable though!
To: RandallFlagg
Thanks, I should check my comments section before I post.
I'd do this every week if I were the Senate Repubs. I would need a bed, TV, computer, Fridge, Microwave, and a nearby restroom, but I could do it. They should advertise these marathons and not just on the news.

OFF TOPIC
I need to find a book about Thomas Jefferson .. Are there any recommendations ??

I wish I knew, Lancey; it's surely not because they don't hear from us.
To: pulaskibush
The cloture votes have been held. It's "over" for the time being.
To: rintense
Thanks for your explanation rintense. But I would still like to know why the Republicans can't get it back to the majority vote.
What do they need to do to get that to happen?
Oh! A light bulb just went off. They would probably need 60 votes to get it back to the way it was.
