FYI..Arlen has a couple of issues/problems, which may explain to some extent his behavior/actions..first, and most obvious..is the primary against Toomey..secondly..don't forget that Hatch is term-limited as chair of the SJC..the next chair will be Arlen..that, to me is a really scary thought..I can't see him managing Bush's SC nominations...unless there's a deal in place for him NOT to take the chair?..maybe that was the cost of the WH's support for Arlen , and the fund-raising dinner, during the primary..
