Fox News CONFIRMING Al Qaeda is operating in Iraq. Full details coming up at 3:15 pm Eastern (about fifteen minutes after I type this). This is what the US boom boom over there this evening has been about.

We are fighting them in a place other than the U.S. Mainland. It is better to do that than to let them smack us on our own soil. The "over there" I refer to could be anywhere, but the specific site in discussion ON THIS THREAD is Iraq. We've drawn at least some of our enemies to a battlefield location of our choosing, and I think it was deliberate.

I only assume that we have defined a high polarization of the location of the main theater of war.

Furthermore, my point is that regardless of any other potential harm against us locally or in our allies' back yards, it is still better to try to keep the fight "over there".
