The sad thing is, Terri is still his meal ticket. And, he's eating steak instead of McBurgers. While busily trying to starve her. ARGH!!

This article sure doesn't agree with Michael's brother said in a radio interview.
That is when Steven says that MS did not live with her parents .. that Terry's parents had lived with MS because they were bankrupt and had no money .. that their credit was so bad they couldn't even rent an appartment and MS was the one who let them live with him.

Never saw that before, but knowing all about Michael, it is amazingly easy to decipher :-)

> What a shame (and a mystery) how he can attract women.
Woman-hating sociopaths are often charming to women -- in order to put them down. Ted Bundy is a classic example, as is Bill Clinton.

Has the (critical) hearing date about care-giving authority changed?
(I thought was first scheduled for yesterday.)
Or is it linked to the Jeb Bush lawsuit shenaniganins than Felos (Kellus?) is playing now?

Very interesting article. It is what many of us suspected for some time now. Iam gald to see someone in the media telling the truth. I guess part of what Ms said on LKL was true. It is all about the money....to him.

I think it was in 2002.
I want to tell everyone that Michael Schiavo is a classic textbook abuser.
The stories I read about him watching Terri like a hawk after her "injury" and everything else that happened before and after is like reading a psychology manual about spousal abusers.
He is on the more detrimental side. Sociopathic. He feels no ones pain but his own and has gone on to completely blame others, including Terri, for what is happening to her.
For example his way of thinking (and you all know this to be true) is that if she would just die, he could be happy, blah, blah, blah. He punished the parents by isolating her (classic abuse he would be arrested for if she was walking and talking) from her parents and people who are trying to help her.
This line of what Schiavo has done needs to be addresses by the Schindler attorney in court as well. After all, Schiavo's machinations are all part of trying to make sure she dies.

This article needs to be spread far and wide. Can it be somehow picked up by the AP? or Drudge? Or ANYONE?

Mary said she remembered thinking right after Terri's collapse that Michael was extraordinarily attentive for having been thrust into such a situation. Just more proof of how evil the guy is....

All that is possible.
Though it seems to be getting very little response here. I figured it was not all that unique with all the info flying around.

How about everybody email Matt Drudge to get this on? This is what I sent, along with the text of the article pasted into the body of the message. Maybe a few hundred (or thousand) of these requests might pique Drudge's notice...
"I urge you to post this article on your website (if it is permitted) so that more people can become aware of this terrible situation - a husband is trying to starve to death his severely brain disabled wife in FL. Most coverage has been from the POV of the husband 'carrying out her wishes', a very debatable piece of hearsay that has been pounced on by 'Right to Die' activists. Thank you very much.

Sincerely, (firerosemom name/address)"
Also I'm going to try the Spirit Daily website...

It's worth a try.

I guess it's just the first place I've really seen a summarized chronology of events from the parents' point of view. If not, if there are lots of other articles like this, I guess I just haven't seen them.

This is a copy of my e-mail to Oprah Winfrey:
"Dear Oprah,
I read that you will be doing a story about living wills this week? I guess you will be making reference to the Terri Schiavo situation. This is an important topic, but you would be better served doing a show about Terri.
I also read that someone with you show had the gall to state that it is Terri's wish to die. You really have made a conscious choice NOT to educate yourself about her husband, the weird attorney Felos and others wrapped up in a case where conflict of interests have decided she must die.
You are irresponsible in not promoting a proper story. Why on earth would you even mention Terri.
I am posting my message to you on FreeRepublic.com and urging the masses (we have considerable clout) to boycott your show, magazine, and ANYTHING you promote and are affiliated with (sponsors, etc.). When you are going to stand up and be independent of other media outlets that have committed horrible journalistic malpractice in the case of Terri Schiavo?
Oprah, you stink!"

Sorry, I don't know. I'm not 'caught up' though on what's going on. I'll ping FV again. It's easy to miss posts with all that's going on! (HI FV! Hope all's well with you!)
I was reviewing some old threads. There have been a lot of dedicated freepers digging for & processing info over past months (and I'm sure, years). There have also been so many other law firms and individuals concerned about Terri's fight over the past decade. . .
It's (past) time for Terri to be allowed to get on with her life. Michael needs to just put her behind him, hard as it is for him, and find peace & satisfaction with his new family.
