Of course. Why else would HINO present evidence from doctors who had examined Terri in the suit for millions who said Terri COULD be rehabilitated?

Then, as soon as the money is safely tucked away in an account, stocks, bonds, Treasury Bills, etc. drawing excellent interest, with HINO the ONLY one with control over that money, would MS "suddenly remember" Terri wouldn't want to "live that way" - hooked to a machine..

Eating and drinking through a tube is a machine?

Plus the fact that Terri was just beginning to actually eat Jello! That suddenly stopped when he started forbidding her parents to see her, when he insisted a DNR be put on her chart.

Please excuse me for going on so, but the stupidity, the wonten disregard for LIFE demonstrated here AND by judges, lawyers, HINO and all just infuriates me!

They do not say the money is "spent" but that it's "gone". Probably to a nice safe, offshore bank account. That's quite common for Florida.
