It doesn't hurt that Burger King's fries are crap. Whenever I eat there now I have to bring in a bag of potato chips.

Here in Panama, not including the U.S. fast food places, restaurants serve fresh fried potato spuds. U.S. citizens who grew up with those awful frozen processed potatoes think the fresh ones are awful. I was totally shocked when I encountered this. To me, the frozen stuff is about as appetizing as instant mashed potatoes which is really nasty stuff.
