I have boycotted hollywierd for years. If all Americans spent as much money on movies as I spend each year, every actor / actress in hollywierd would be homeless.

What I'm thinking is, actors get the biggest money at the box office. If there is a movie that I really want to "check out" (excluding all Baldwin movies because nothing with that jerk in it can be good)I'll just wait for it to go out on video/CD, and not before it's been outed by 6 weeks or more. A two-buck rental oone year after the fact aint gonna help a liberal holly-weirdo.

Am I right?

You gotta admit, it makes getting a "clear conscience" from your entertainment dollar tougher & tougher, but it just boils down to how serious you are about supporting violators of your beliefs & morals.

I was never going to waste a nickel on "music" by R. Kelly, Emenem, Whoredonna, Dogg Poopy Scoop, or any other rap/hip-hop "stars" (gimme '70's-'80's Rock), nor would I plunk down a cent on a Roman Polanski film, but when the values of my COUNTRY & HOMELAND is trashed, I'll hold those who offend just as seriously as the wide-open, proud-to-be perverts in the American spotlight!

How about the opposite of a boycott? In other words, eat KFC chicken simply because the lefties and nuts at PETA don't want you to:

What red-blooded man would turn down a chance to meet with uber-babe Pam Anderson? The same guy who has been refusing to meet with rap mogul Russell Simmons. And that would be David Novak, the head of KFC, who sources say has repeatedly refused to meet with either of the two to discuss what they say is the chicken chain’s inhumane treatment of its birds.

“Pam Anderson has been trying to meet with Novak because she cares passionately about the well-being of chickens,” says a source. “Pam objects to things like how KFC scalds live chickens to de-feather them, but Novak won’t even take her calls.” Now, Anderson, an active member of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, will call for a boycott of KFC on her weekly radio show.

And, the insider says, after some initial conversations with Russell, Novak is refusing to meet with Simmons. When called for comment about Anderson and Simmons, KFC issued its prepared statement that it uses “only the highest quality ingredients” and declined further comment.

Because of the stalemate, says the source, PETA is stepping up its war with KFC. “If they won’t meet with us, we’re taking our case to the children.” The source says that PETA will start handing out what they’re calling “Buckets of Blood” in front KFC outlets across the country. “They’ll look like KFC’s buckets of chicken, and will contain things like mutilated, gory chickens,” says the source. “We gave kids ‘Unhappy Meals’ at McDonald’s and Burger King crowns with animals impaled on the points when they wouldn’t meet with us. After those kids started screaming, both McDonald’s and Burger King got reasonable.” MSNBC

Have you noticed how these movies are playing down the appearances of certain actors?

Funny you say that. I was just noticing the other night that they don't even show Ed Asswipe in any of the previews for Elf. Gee, I wonder why...

You know the politics and beliefs of the producers/makers/suppliers/distributors/retailers of every single purchase you make?

You've got more time than I do.

I work too hard for my money. I go for quality. I go for value.

I'm not gonna by crap just because a "conservative" produced it.

THERE IS NOT ONE COMPANY IN AMERICA PROVIDING PRODUCT TO US THAT DOES NOT HAVE ONE OR MORE LIBERALS IN SIGNIFICANT ROLES IN IT.

If that is our benchmark for boycotting (as you seem to imply), we better all go back to the farm.

I appreciate your concern.

I feel that we should be directing our anger toward our elected, at all levels, who continue to support all manner of anti-constitution people, groups, and causes.

Just take a look at the stupid education bill or the farm bill to see what I mean.

I feel this non-consentual use of our hard-earned dollars is far worse.

On the other hand, none of the pictures you listed look like anything I'd pay to see anyway.

Good luck with your boycott!

Thanks. Is it true Ed Assner played Santa in Chicago and made kids cry by telling them they wouldn't get any toys?

Don't back bad movies bump...

>>It's very easy to boycott movies.

My three daughters are age 4 and under, so for now, it's easy to establish what will and will not be seen in our house. I cringe at the thought that soon, I'll have to deal with the poisoning of my girls by the habits OTHER parents have allowed their children to establish when their kids mingle with mine at school.

For now, there is NO network TV in our house and the only children's entertainment the girls get is video and DVD of the good old fashioned cartoons from my parents and grandparents era (ie; Betty Boop, WALT Disney, Looney Tunes, Hanna Barbara, etc...). Such videotapes are easily found at Dollar stores for under $5!

"It's your call...I just report the details. You probably weren't aware Baldwin was in this movie...As many aren't. Does he deserve your money?"

Depends!

If it is Adam Baldwin, absolutely!

If it is one of the loser Baldwin Brothers, definitely not!

You may be right on that. I don't think they get much from the rentals. I just have something against the loudmouths in hollywierd.

I have very sensitive hearing, and cannot stand the loud noises at movies and concerts. I would rather work in my yard than sit in a movie or concert for two plus hours.

I reward the people who make the best product with my money.

Hell, I have friends who vote differently than me and I love them. Politics is something I am interested in. I do not let it run my life.

yup--back in April, I believe, they asked me to come on and talk about our efforts vs Glover and MCI. We confirmed for Joe that an insider at MCI told US that Glover was gonna get canned...It was pretty cool.

That is not my "benchmark for boycotting" at all. Speaking of farms, I think you missed my point by a country mile. My point was, it's impossible to find a studio movie without liberals behind it--either in front of the camera, or behind the camera, in significant roles: director, producer, etc. And usually, in both places. Boycotting Hollywood movies is pointless, unless you never go to the movies again. That'll show 'em.

Yeah. Free bait for catfish chumming. Alright! Where do I go and pick up this great fishing bait? I haven't seen them around my local KFC.

Alec Baldwin--Enough Said

if you have no idea what these people have done by now, I'd like to know what cave you've been hiding in. We might want to go back there and see if Bin Laden is hiding there, too. haha

Feel free to visit our forums at PABAAH in the "Talk about celebs on the boycott list" folder, all quotes and deeds of these anti-Americans are well documented. Remember, it's THEIR words that we are using against them. We feel that if they won't support their country, why should we support them?

>> Politics is something I am interested in. I do not let it run my life.

Therein lies the problem...Where did this societal obsession begin with letting everyone know your politics with "in-your-face" attitudes?

I submit that it comes MOSTLY from the liberal side. Conservatives, like Heterosexuals, consider their lifestyles and values to be traditional & normal in society...Things that need no promotion...You just do them and keep on about your business.

Liberals are working 24/7/365 to establish their perversions as "alternatives" to the norm (to recruit more dance partners), and thus, stir things up, and it's not just the homosexuality issue. They've taken to using the same battle plan for legalization of drugs, spreading of anarchy & socialism, etc, etc, etc.

Some of them... Those that get too far out in front usually manage to tick off enough people that we can't see their characters through their persona any more. But for me, they have to be way out there for me to stay away from an otherwise good film, or an otherwise good product. And that usually means more 'out there' than a fidgety political view expressed when they get put on the spot.
