[history]
The furor over allegations that Arnold Schwarzenegger mistreated women erupted again Thursday. The governor-elect, through his spokesman, ripped Atty. Gen. Bill Lockyer for what Schwarzenegger said was a breach of attorney-client privilege after Lockyer revealed the gist of conversations the two have had about the matter. Schwarzenegger also disclosed that he had decided to hire a private investigative firm to examine the allegations first published in the Los Angeles Times, and he said he had decided to do so even before Lockyer suggested it Thursday. But a spokesman said the governor-elect was now reconsidering an earlier decision to hand the results of the private probe over to Lockyer.

what I'm trying to say is that Clinton will never do anything like what Arnold is trying to do, the human scum that he is.

seems like Bush killed more Clinton investigations than Clinton did. Reno would be second.

Oh? Don't be so quick to judge. Stick around a while. You might be surprised at what you learn. The truth is out there. Clinton WAS involved in the attempt to save Gray's bacon. These accusations smack of Clinton/Carvell tactics funded by who else, the DNC.

Most of the accusers came out 4 years ago in Premiere magazine. Please tell me the conection to Clinton from that article and I'll follow you blindly.

All I can think of by the title of this thread is Jack Elam in Cannonball Run looking wild eyed in the camera with a rubber glove on saying "I'm a proctologist..."

Yes. Unlike demoncraps, Repubs don't go into sleaze politics.
When Ted Chappaquiddick is ripping into Dubya, all Dubya said is Ted's actions are "uncivil".
I think that Republicans are 1) too gentlemanly to go into mudslinging and 2) don't see the demoncraps as anti-American traitors.

Rob Stutzman, Schwarzeneggers communications director, then gathered Capitol reporters on a 2:30 p.m. conference call and accused Lockyer of a breach of legal ethics. He said Lockyer, as attorney general, had presented himself to Schwarzenegger as his lawyer and that the two had discussed the groping charges in that context. Stutzman said Schwarzenegger was extremely disappointed that Lockyer had discussed those conversations with the media. Never trust a 'RAT.

Arnold should just drop it. You will never satisfy the libs. He is going to learn this lesson very quickly.

Heh heh. You said "probe." My favorite line on this type of situation was from a Police Chief who, during a news conference about a peep hole drilled into the female officers locker room said "I'll look into it."

Arnold should just drop it. You will never satisfy the libs. He is going to learn this lesson very quickly. He can't drop it; the dems will keep bringing it up. Sounds to me like he's going to use the trusty, "we're investigating this, and we can't comment until it's complete," tactic. What he won't say is that the investigation will last until the end of his term, if not the end of time itself.
