Apparently there is some intel bush isn't sharing???

You bet. No wonder they're so freaked.

And i just had a horrible thought. I realize that political gain is a primary consideration here. But what if there's something else involved, too.

Just suppose that someone on the committee has been passing info to people who shouldn't have it, and I don't mean the press. What if this frenzy is to get more info for political gain is playing into the hands of people who want to leak/sell it? If you get caught, you can always blame your motivation on politics. Which, while bad, is a whole lot more palatable than treason.

Now I'll grant you that's tin-foily, but the point is how can we rule that out? To my mind we can't. Which ought to prove just how bad things have gotten, and how serioulsy this ought to be taken.

....the point is how can we rule that out?.....

Given the zealots in Ratland we must expect such behavior. Bad is good if the cause is right. (left)

I've had some horrible thoughts too. Like that one or more of our Senators and/or staffers were/are on saddam's/yasser's payroll. No wonder things have been wierd ever since the Iraqi Intel Services files were discovered with "interesting" names.

I look forward to finishing the bad guys off.

I think that better explains Zell's attitude in this whole mess than anything else!
