That doesn't sound like Greer's manner of speaking. What source is there for what he actually said?

This is the opportunity they need. They know what kind of scum they're dealing with in Michael, but they really need to use the LKL show to dump the garbage out there....what can be substantiated. They can't be worrying about anything else.

If the etymology is done correctly the translation of felo de se is "robber of self", hence one who kills himself. But felo, out of this phrase, does not mean "kill". It means thief.

"Felos" is also the Old English spelling of "fellows" which, in those days, meant "military peers" or "knights of equal rank".

Why would Greer change the guardianship after all that has transpired for the past five years? Is Greer "getting religion"? Is he afraid of threats on his life?

Why? Because the world is now watching and these things can not be done in secret anymore.

Yes, but that still leaves open the question of what was said versus inferred. After all, if Judge Greer simply said "Sorry, this motion to dismiss is without merit", one might infer the things quoted and yet the real message might be "Don't make me do something so outrageous. Simply keep filing continuances and all will be well until 2006."
