Long story short. I went on a Sunday night, and Magic Johnson was eating behind me with some friends. I am not one who gets excited about meeting famous people, but it was pretty cool. I loved the Lakers growing up. Buck was the man.

Thanks, bourbon. With 2% in on Memphis TV, It's Musgrove 50-49, Tuck 58-40, Hood 68-32!??? Anderson 53-47 and Spell 70-29. These must be some really RAT precincts because the GOP base should be close to 35% and since Newton and Phillips ran respectable campaigns, I think these numbers must come up as the night goes on. I expect Reeves to win the Treasurers race based upon these numbers.

Yep! This is now the biggest MS thread ever. I hope nobody counts the number of our combined posts! :)

Polls have now been closed 1 hour, 26 minutes. What's the deal? Dems need to calc their margin win %. Takes some some time to work the numbers and deliver the ballots from the union hall.
I'm Wake (Forest) MBA. Our guy Ernie won big in Cary tonight. (What do you do in Raleigh?

Yeah, I'm sad about the AG's race too. My father knows Newton and says that he is "positively eaten up with integrity."
Besides, Hood is too cozy with the people who are destroying this business climate in this state (the MS Trial Lawyers Association).
