The guys who run the NYC GOP seem to like having their fiefdom. They never help candidates and they never seem to recruit them and then they warn them against campaigning in much of the city because its 'divisive'.
Its their little kingdom.

No, we can't count Arnie. Arnie was a defeat for the Republicans, according to Terry McAwful.

Thanks! I hope those in Louisianna make it 30 next week. Sweet! They already have a GOP Gov, so it would be a hold, not a take-over. It would still be 29 (if Haley holds on).

Barbour will win outright John. Thanks for the verbiage though.I'll bank that knowing your skills as an analyst of Congressional District voting patterns.
Can't be a happy day for the democrat party. Fletcher wins by 10 while his opponent ran against President Bush as much as Fletcher and Barbour takes Mississippi even thogu he favors killing their youth with tobacky.
If Jindal wins, they'll have to post "Objects Falling" signs at dim headquarters.
To: ambrose
But isn't Jindal's race on Nov. 11th?

And they run the SAME loser candidates over, and over, and over again. It's pathetic.

Well, I do have to admit one thing... I have absolutely no idea what a "JBT" is... but I scored 100% on the rest, so there's a good chance, lol...
I am pretty much an island in NJ. Outside of my family I don't think I know a single true conservative (I know they exist, I just never get to meet them apparently). I'm agnostic, but firmly on the side of the Christians in the culture war.

Sorry Jacko, I'm no troll. I want Bush to win next year as badly as you do. I'm worried Iraq may sink him. If you can't listen to constructive, well-intended criticism of the Bush admin. -- criticism intended to keep them in power -- then that's your issue, not mine.

My daughter was married on the trail up Grandfather Mtn. Her liberal groom is a greenie. He helped clear that trail. You're right, it's cold. Too cold for me.

Forest Hills..(modest home)off Tyne between Granny White and Hillsboro in a hollow which culminates in Laurel Ridge...about halfway up.
My hollow is bright orange and yellow right now...this record breaking Indian Summer has really drawn out the color. Suprised me.
Boy, you would not have recognized Franklin 25 years ago when my folks first moved up to this area. A true hamlet back then and Cool Springs was country.

Takes a while to stuff ballots here.Bet you've got nothing on Jeff Davis county though.....lol!

But isn't Jindal's race on Nov. 11th?Actually, Nov 15th
To: ambrose
Not many in the rural delta actually, but that really doesn't have a lot of votes. In the latest numbers, DeSoto came in with a another slug of black precincts from Hinds (I assume they are black, unless Bush voters in Hinds are swinging massively to Musgrove). Thus the percentages overall did not change. Still nothing from Rankin.

Heck, Cool Springs was country when my wife started working down here. Then I remember "everyone" saying things like, "oh, the mall won't take off. Brentwood won't allow that kind of growth and Franklin can't sustain it" and such! LOL What idiots!
I think there are now 3 Walgreens within 5 miles from me!
