it would likely only be regional, in the large metro areas, at major transportation facilities, etc.
To: FairOpinion
There was a senate briefing on this. I will look for the link.

It really isn't helping Osama as much as it is wagging the dog's tail for a false flag. No one wants to help Islam. They are helping themselves by helping Islam.

Thanks.
In the Insight mag article there was also a remark about how they may possibly use it, which is related to aircraft and may explain the current curious flight cancelations:
US Investigating Whether Nukes In Country Dec. 21, 2001
"A nightmare scenario would be a hostile nuke exploded aboard a plane by means of a carefully adjusted barometric detonator rigged to go off on landing, said Probst, adding: "You could have a multiple take-down of aircraft."

I, for one, read the bridge and wire article a few days ago and could not make heads and tails of it. Now, with your second link on wire use for portble nukes, I can only say, hmmmmm. I see the bridge and wire report in a new light!
To: Domestic Church
It is true. I have 3 children in school and we received paperwork home on lock down. Had to send supplies in to sustain the children for 3 days.
We have already had small periods of lock downs. Our school is by the train station. Whenever there was a threat to transportation, the train shut down. The school locks. I haven't experienced anything longer than 3 hours yet.

That's how I felt when I came across the other article.
Before I couldn't imagine why would anyone put that long thin wire on the bridge -- but learning that they need a long thin wire to keep the nuke powered before detonating, it gives a possibility, that maybe they did that in preparation.
To: Calpernia
Most folks will hope you are right. No, nobody wants to really help al qaeda except for the muslim extremists. But will a former Russian or other nuke expert help usama for enough dough? That is the question I would venture.
To: Calpernia
Thanks for the excellent reminder of that article. How sobering. I still don't believe Hatfill is the guy. What I can't figure out is why they are (IMO) framing him.

Even if the Russian government wouldn't help, but there are a lot of people, who could be bought, who could tell AQ where those weapons are hidden, or tell them how to maintain them, and check them, if they are still functioning, etc.

Mississippi River...New Madrid faultline!
This really does support their claim of the suitcase nukes.

Thanks. Yes, it's suspicious, that he warns about the missing nukes and soon thereafter his helicopter crashes and he dies.
To: Donna Lee Nardo
Not just the dough. That is icing on the cake. Do you think Russia will sit back and let Islam have control in the end? Think back to the Venona cables. Russia has been infiltrating for a long time.

Perhaps Hatfill is a very good actor...and an agent himself. It bought a lot of time and cloaked those really on the trail.

«Des roses à naître sont cachées sous les pans de mon manteau» Muhammad Iqbal. The yet unborn roses are hidden under the [pans? don't know this word] of my coat.
"Voltaire, quand il ne comprend pas Muhammad, prend le chemin de ceux qui sont contre les natures supérieures; Napoléon avait raison de s'indigner" Friedrich Nietzsche, Fragments Posthumes, 25 [187]."
Voltaire, when he doesn't understand Muhammad, takes the route of those who are against the surperior natures; Napoleon was right to be indignant.
Don't ask me what they are about, but that's how they translate.

http://commdocs.house.gov/committees/security/has078010.000/has078010_1.HTM Thanks! Fascinating. It' s real shame that Lebed died (or was murdered). I think he could have been a help in working together with the US against the terrorists.
I think they were concerned that he may reveal more, which the Russians would find embarrassing, which means there was much more there, than what he actually did tell us.

Not to mention daleel's repeated references to "wire" in a series of posts about imminent attack 12/20-12-22.
"And we warn you again that time is running fast so fast that it's
getting harder to turn out the led fire in the wire.
Again it is not in our morals to attack you with such a big attack
with out a warning."
----
You know that order number (8) has been issued, but you don't know
that we know, and now we tell you and now you know.
And this order is the last life line and the only chance to drop cold
water on the led wire, so let it be that your answer to us be fast and
with actions from the highest levels in the American administration,
and know that we will be all open ears to you and we will be up to
date with your answer once you have decided to take the right decision
from your side.
