SYRIA COMPLETES CHEMICAL WEAPON WARHEADS [for its scud-based missiles]

DAMASCUS [MENL] -- Syria has completed chemical warheads for its arsenal of Scud-based missiles.

U.S. officials said Syria, with help from North Korea, has succeeded in designing and installing CW warheads for the Scud B, Scud C and Scud D missiles. This provides Syria with warheads that can reach distances from 250 to nearly 700 kilometers.

The chemical agent deployed in the CW warheads is sarin, regarded as the most toxic of material. Syria has also been developing more toxic agents such as VX.

"Since the 1970s, Syria has pursued what is now one of the most advanced Arab state chemical weapons capabilities," Undersecretary of State John Bolton said on Oct. 30. "It has a stockpile of the nerve agent sarin that can be delivered by aircraft or ballistic missiles, and has engaged in the research and development of more toxic and persistent nerve agents such as VX."

Thanks for asking, and thanks for the blessing.

Somewhat like your comment in #1420, my reason, sense, and gut are pretty twisted and conflicted right now. I have read & absorbed a lot in the last week or so, and I'm trying to ascertain if I'm seeing a new trend or if I'm just newly seeing a trend that has been there for some time.

Either way, I believe we are living in the last days and in the words of Ephesians, "... we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."

Also from scripture, 1 Peter says, "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour."

It's interesting to me to see the various reactions here on FR to this kind of thread. I guess I try to take a reasonable position somewhere in between the indifferent scoffers and the totally panicked. I believe in living every day as fully as I can, because I believe that pleases God. At the same time, I think a fair amount of circumspection is in order, because the days are evil.

To give you a more specific answer - it seems to me that we are in for another attack, just based on the enduring & seething hatred that our sworn enemies have for us. As many have pointed out on this thread as well as others, there does seem to be correlation between the timing of the past attacks and other events in history deemed significant by the enemy. A lot of arrows point to this Ramadan as a likely time for the islamicists to try to force their version of the end-game.

Having said that, I take comfort in the knowledge (head & heart) that God, the one really true God, is still in control, and no human being or demon can change the big picture. Granted, small parts of the picture can be changed, individual lives can be changed, and that is another reason to calmly act - to try to spread the news of God's love to those around me, and hopefully brighten their part of the picture.

The other news that the media is covering up is a huge fire fight with heavy guns and some 17 fighters being shot down in the north of Iraq!! And this fight has been going on since last night till the time we wrote this article news bulletin and still going on!!. We will keep you updated on that story if anything new comes out. In Saudi Arabia jihad has began against the black family with direct orders from Sheikh Osama bin laden may god protect him and his followers to root it out of the Arabian peninsula and this is due to its worship to the American government and its fight against the mojahideen. The longer daleel continues to post these threats, the more I'm starting to think he's a well paid piece of bait.

Maybe wishful thinking, but to me, it's the most logical explanation.

Daleel has changed the group home page background color to a dark grey, just a bit difficult to read the black text now. Also the home page is sporting a new Jihadist picture.

Well, he might be, but I think "daleel" and friends are the lower end of the murky AQ pond --- ie he and his friends are bottom feeders in the AQ or wanna be's. His messages pretty much have the same rhetoric as the other jihadi sites.

In regard to rumors about a large-scale attack against the U.S. during the month of Ramadan, Al-Hijazi said that "a huge and very courageous strike" will take place and that the number of infidels expected to be killed in this attack, according to primary estimates, exceeds 100,000. He added that he "anticipates, but will not swear, that the attack will happen during Ramadan."

He further stated that the attack will be carried out in a way that will "amaze the world and turn Al Qaida into [an organization that] horrifies the world until the law of Allah is implemented, actually implemented, and not just in words, on His land... You wait and see that the balance of power between Al Qaida and its rivals will change, all of a sudden, Allah willing."

Radical Islamic Group Praises 9/11 as being a "Magnificent Day."

    A radical British based Islamic group is using its Yahoo! Groups message board to praise the terrorist attacks of 9/11.

Calling it a "magnificent day," the writer comments that people worldwide saw a first hand demonstration of the "signs of Allah" on 9/11.

He says, "Many of the ayat of the Qur'an were demonstrated in our life in a very spectacular way, crystal clear for all to see. In fact, since that towering day in history we see an acceleration in the already large number of people becoming Muslim day after day - one of many of the benefits and positive outcomes from 9/11, Verily it is evident that Allah ... guides who we wish, despite the extreme measures of propaganda and misinformation from the kuffar to fight against the spread of Islam."

The writer gives what he claims are the "Almighty Signs of Allah" on 9/11. He says, for example, there were a small number of people defeating a larger number.

"This was a very small number with no heavy weaponry, no jets, no tanks, no cannons, no bombers, only 19 men with knives, and they defeated them heavily. For all their boasts of civilization and high technology, they had no defense against them. People claim that it is not a victory because 'innocent' civilians were killed, yet the US army have killed many civilians, and furthermore, Allah ... is the one who decides who is innocent or not, and Allah ... says that the Muslims are innocent, not the kuffar. Further victory, is that from this one incident, America reviewed its entire plans and policies."

The writer says the events of 9/11 were precipitated by more than U.S. foreign policy. He asks, "What if the motive was ... because (the terrorists) were devoted Muslims that believed that those kuffar (non Moslems) should be killed? What if the reason was that Muslims are in captivity in America? There are many Muslims including Sheikh Omar Abdul Rahman who are imprisoned in USA. It is well known that to release Muslims from the captivity of the kuffar is one of the reasons that will necessitate (oblige) offensive Jihad."

The writer continues. "In the past, entire tribes and cities and nations were conquered because of one Muslim captive, in the time of Muhammad, Banu Qaynuqa was expelled because they simply insulted one Muslim woman."

The article writer further comments that Muslims do not kill; it is Allah. "The US had calculated for planes crashing into the World Trade Centre and built it not to be affected, and yet it was completely destroyed, furthermore the building should not have fallen in the neat way that it did, and there should not have been other buildings falling with them without to get hit - as did occur on 9/11. It was none but Allah ... that brought down the World Trade Center.Allah ordered us to do the effort, and the result comes from Allah, It does not come from us nor from our own actions."

Bragging about some of the other effects of 9/11 the writer comments "Another victory ... is that the American deficit rocketed down, the USA faced many other calamities from 9/11, Furthermore, many people became Muslim because of 9/11 – at least four times more than before 9/11. That is a victory for Islam and Muslims."

The writer says that Allah gives victory by "striking fear in the heart of the enemy." He comments "The kuffar were so terrified, they would never come down to fight them on the land, they continued to bomb the mountains of Afghanistan until a third of the US ammunition was used up in Afghanistan, and they spent over $68,000,000,000 in Afghanistan, they are so terrified only because of one oath made by an old man - Sheikh Usama bin Laden, in a mountain in Afghanistan. Despite their arrogance and their boasts and all their weaponry and technology, they were brought to their knees in terror by 20 Muslims: an old man and 19 young men."

The article writer concludes by saying that no one can be harmed unless it is "decreed by Allah." He writes "Allah ... says in the hadith Qudsi: ‘If all the people gathered together to harm you, they will never harm you except what Allah ... has decreed, and if all the people gathered together to benefit you, they will never benefit you except for what Allah ... has decreed.'"

Omar Bakri Mohammed, the radical Islamic figure who heads Al-Muhajiroun, the organization behind this pronouncement, has been linked to British suicide bombers in Israel and has also issued calls to overthrow the British government

       According to MEMRI, Muhammad has lived in London since 1985 and preaches at a number of London mosques. He also routinely presents himself as a spokesman for the International Islamic Front, which he describes as being the political wing of Osama bin Laden's Islamic Front for Jihad against Jews and Crusaders.
