I got a security warning that the site was trying to download something to my pc. I closed the browser before seeing what it was.
Probably nothing or a pop-up.
I'm no expert.

Simply ridiculous. Go ahead, have your fun bashing Freepers who post Debka articles, it's tradition right? Post a Debka article and its like the first day of Duck season for Freepers like yourself. Pretty childish in my opinion.

Hey, out of curiousity, was this guy present through all those "Orange alerts"?
Ogmios: this is the first threat I've taken seriously...

I took a look at the Yahoo Groups site mentioned, and joined (then after seeing what was in the file section immediately quit the group). This guy is either certifiable or the real deal. I'm not sure who to point this stuff at...

Simply ridiculous. So you think it's just hunky-dory that Debka's been caught in bald-faced, deliberate lies in their stories, and that should have no standing on their veracity? That says quite a bit about YOU.

It's pretty stupid for you ridicule the general wisdom of the long-term members of this website, if you ask me. We've become quite expert at researching and debunking lies - and we don't care who tells them, we're going to tear them up. That's the beauty of the internet - it allows lies to be challenged, and only the weak-minded complain about it.

I'm going through the Members links now.
I'm on this one:
http://www.sraya.com/nuke/ Since I can't read Arabic, I'm reading it through Reveal Codes. I'm finding media links that aren't visible on the html page.
I'm listening to live Quran Radio now:
http://www.kacst.edu.sa/en/stream/Quran-Radio-Station.asx (one of the embedded links)
I don't know Arabic though. I'm waiting to see who is being pinged to this thread that knows Arabic.

Simply ridiculous. In the nearly two years I've been here, DEBKA has been wrong a bit more often than right. I'd say they're fair game.

Yes...Debka has proven "in the long run" to be an accurate source as time goes on. Sometimes they jump the gun but if you notice...80% usually happens.

I'm not trying to be an alarmist, but I do think we need to keep our guard up. I think you're right to take this stuff seriously. At some point one must stop believing that someone or some group that constantly threatens you really means it, especially when there's past evidence to back it up.
I look at it this way...
If one Saturday morning you wake up to find your crazy paranoid neighbor standing on his front porch screaming "I'm going to get you Mitch!" you might safely brush it off as simple deranged bluster. But what about the next week when he's standing on his front lawn yelling "Okay Mitch, your time is coming!" Well, probably just had too much to drink again this morning.
The following week he's at the base of your driveway demanding you vacate the neighborhood or "stuffs gonna happen!" You still dismiss him as a simple nut. Well, what about next week when a rock comes through your window? Or the week following when a burning turd shows up on your doorstep? Are you going to take him seriously then or wait until the smoke detector goes off in the middle of the night? What if you can't get out of the burning house? Will you regret not taking the lunatic more seriously sooner?
I would have thought that 9/11 would have woken people up to realize that sometimes you must act against the simple threat instead of waiting for the actual incident to occur. Some, and in fact many here, seem to get that. I'm not sure the majority of folks do.
I continue to be concerned that in labelling so many of these "warnings" as the boy crying wolf we'll miss the warning that actually we should have caught and paid attention to. Natch, I hope I'm dead wrong, but this dual eclipse thing during Ramadan does unsettle me a little. These nutjobs do seem to enjoy their symbolism and Islam is rife with it, it seems.

Agreed. I have noticed that a day has not gone by without a violent attack in Iraq so far either. Methinks NYC,LA,and D.C. have good reason to worry.

The Jews rule the Pentagon by remote control? Wonder if they're using a universal remote, or if the Pentagon came with a special one.I wondered about that, too. I mean, why should the Jews have a special universal remote, when I have to use three for my TV? The Jews DO control everything....! /sarcasm

This is the first one that I have taken seriously as well, time to go grocery shopping and buy some more ammo.
Always time to buy more ammo though.
Just glad that I don't live any of those places.
I can't believe that they would be stupid enough to try and hurt their support base though, it is just amazing to me, if they blow up those liberal mecca's, the conservatives of this country will still be left to destroy them, and we will.
