The plain old wind from a storm is causing massive wave warnings from Eureka to Brookings, Oregon with really high seasonal tides.
In September, there was a tsunami warning when we were on vacation in Brookings. We were on a third floor condo about 150' above sea level. My poor Trophy Bride didn't sleep good the night of the warning, and I dropped like a rock into sleep for about 7 hours.
The next morning, she asked how I could sleep with the warning?
I said it was simple. If a wave higher than 150' hit us, we would make the record books. Also, there was nothing that we could do besides drive up the Chetco River about 17 miles and spend the night in the Bronco, I'm too old for that. I got the look from her
