Well . . . at least you got an explanation from the Moderator !!!

When I post my opinions in the font that best suits my severe vision problems, I get thumped by unhappy Freepers who then hit the Report Abuse button and complain bitterly to Admin Moderator... who then instructs me not to use "huge" fonts... but then refuses my 6 repeated requests for an answer to my question, e.g.:

What constitutes "huge"??? That is to say, what is the maximum size font that I can use without being scolded for use thereof ???

But I received NO answer. Why??? Was that such a difficult question??? Or is someone just looking for an excuse to pull my FR feeding tube???

And what makes you think Mikey would give $500,000 to his lawers in order to have Terri exterminated and then immediately cremated if he wasn't trying desperately to cover his own ass regarding what he physically did to Terri??? I don't see huge fonts as annoying as the random caps exclaimation-point-impaired posters use. BTW, I hope you can read this.

Mr. Geek, instead of making everything you post an < H3 > font size, just use the built-in "Text Size" feature of your browser so that ALL the words you read will appear bigger to you who really needs it.

You know, you can set your browser so that fonts are bigger for you there and you can see it at your convenience without subjecting the rest of us to it.

Using larger fonts isn't going to really help there. You know what you wrote, and what everyone else writes will be in smaller fonts.

Just about every web browser available lets you override the default settings for font size, to make it easier for people with vision problems to increase the size to their own preference.

For example, if you are using Internet Explorer 6.0, go to the "View" menu, and then to the "Text Size" submenu, and choose "Largest". Voila! You'll get your larger, easier to read text without overwhelming everyone else.

You should use Mozilla as your browser. It has very good custom controls over the font sizes of displayed text.

Just a suggestion, but if your problem with the fonts is your vision, why not adjust the settings on your computer so that YOU see the fonts larger, and nobody at FR whines because of the fonts?
