Well, even if they were reinstated, there's no forum software available to you to edit them.

Why don't you just go get the original article instead and repost it from the source the way 100% of the others do here.
If it is a Washington Post article, go there, link it ONLY and comment to your heart's content.
Also look and see if it has already been posted. That also may be why they removed it.
