No. Trying to listen to Handel's "in the air" commentary and the Big Bear feed. The only thing I heard is that the firefighters on the ground don't have an aerial view of the fire's direction and that their strike forces are smaller for safety.

Just in: fire blew over 18 at "knob hill?"

Palomar update

7:24 a.m.

Sheriff Deputies are advising people on Palomar Mountain to make evacuation plans however the evacuations are not mandatory.

Julian update

7:12 a.m.

According to San Diego County Sheriffs the fire is burning within one quarter mile of Julian. The town is still standing although some buildings on the outskirts of the town have been lost.

200 - 300 structures outside Julian have been destroyed.

There are reported structure fires in the Kentwood neighborhood and the Pine Cone area.

Actually, if someone would listen to the other feed on the thread. That seems to be the feed that goes to the pilots in air if they're up.
