I took that letter that you posted and forwarded it to all the FOX news shows, telling them that they are missing a big part of the story in their reporting.

Fire jumped the 18 in two places. Patrick Healey of Channel 4 on the Rim of the World HWY estimated the flames to be 100 ft (and I'd believe it). He says three or 4 miles from Lake Arrowhead. 80% of the trees in that area have Bark Beetle infestation. All FFers are ok. He's saying it jumped the 18 near Santa's Village also. Burning NE across the east shore of Lake Arrowhead.

Just read the overnight stuff. I am really pissed about the guy who tried to send Eaton Canyon up. Thank God they caught him. I work just down the hill from there, about one and a half miles down in Northern San Gabriel.

Hopefully some updates on Julian will come, it sounds like it wasn't a total loss, which is what was feared.

Right. I'm hoping for the wind to shift enough to work around BB and Arrowhead etc. All are under mandatory evacuation so hopefully folks have cleared out.
