I'll certainly donate to that class action cause.Perhaps JimRob may see it proper to harness the power of the freepathon to not only support a class-action suit, but also to provide relief funds to a respected charity such as the Salvation Army.

Interesting aside to your comment....we were told to leave the gas turned on because the gas company constantly checks and turns off a whole area where danger threatens. If you turn it off individually, they won't promise how soon you can be activated again. That was news to me, but I did as told.

From what I have learned since coming back on the fires in the San Bernardino Mountains seem to be pretty much out of control and winds are still gusting up there. May be heading over the mountains north and down into the High Desert. The two fires in San Bernardino County joined this afternoon.
Looks like only the Simi Valley fire is going where they want the fire to go.
In San Diego area (Julian), heard a report of a firefighter dead and several in critical condition but cannot confirm after the initial report I heard. Maybe someone on here has more info about the Julian fire.

Re: SanDiego...
Homes destroyed
4:13 p.m.
According to County Supervisor Greg Cox's office this is the most recent count of homes and buildings destroyed in the fires:
Cedar 1,060 homes , 172 outbuildings .
Paradise 111 homes, 100 outbuildings.
There are currently 13 assessment teams across the county trying to compile the addresses of homes lost. Not all of the areas are currently accessible.

Latest I heard on Julian was one fire fighter killed, 2 critical, one of them at least evacuated to the burn unit at University Hospital in San Diego.
Those pines are 100 foot tall and flames are ripping way over the top of them
