KFI said 1 killed, 2 injured. They don't know the condition of the 2 injured.

The house(s) may have been occupied. I remember earlier how one homeowner decided to stay and fight but later called 911 when they felt trapped by the flames. Heard on the radio that the coroner? for SD County stated they expect the death count to increase due to people who failed to heed warnings to evacuate.

I know it....
If the two SD Fires join up it can and will get worse.
But, local Fox news is reporting we now have more air support, including 8 blackhawk hueys which can carry (I believe the anchor said) 3000 gallons of water.

Keep those updates coming. I'm in Colorado with my 1997 Rand McNally road Atlas and finding the locations this thread is indicating.

Any more word on YOUR fire?

These enviro dummies need to wake up and smell the smoke! I don't know how many states need to burn to the ground before they come to their senses
IMO, they have so sense, and many of the radical ones think this is an "appropriate clensing" of the encroachment humans have made into the hills and mtns.
The long term objective of the hard core enviros is to push us into high rises in cities, and no one living in the open spaces. They want to turn back 50% of the acreage of the entire USA to no presence of humans, and no sign we were ever there. I want to have the dump contract on that deal....
