No Nana said they renamed the area Erwin Lake it is next to Sugar Loaf. I know they still address it for postage as Big Bear City

You're welcome.
We had major fires all over Az last year, so I know a little of what you guys are going through.
How close are you to some of these fires?
You all be careful out there.

They say Fawnskin is the north edge of BBLake

Not a scanner update, but a ch. 7 (ABC) update:
Reporter in Big Bear. Says Fawnskin majorly threatened, winds are pushing fire up the canyon. Video shown of Big Bear Village - looks deserted. Only people they've found up there were the people who operate Rite-Aid, who stayed behind to get food/munchies/water to the FFs.

Encroaching on another residential area:
A bit northward of the above pic:
Chopper reporter says something is burning (second pic) because there is also black smoke coming up.
To: webvanca
Oh God, I was afraid of that when they said they were making stands and determined not to lose anymore houses.

Oh No! May God Bless Them and Their Families.
FF reporting fire just south of Fredalba, Runing Springs area. Estimates fire will push up to that area and Mount R in 2 to 3 hours.
Mount R is the huge "R" you see on the mountain just north of Redlands, just to the huge arrowhead on the mountain over above SAn Bernandino.
FF not willing to commit his guys into that area with errsctic winds in canyon
