50 foot flames behind the homes.

looking down stagecrest circle, thick black smoke.

Reporter: major shift of wind, and the fire just exploded.

OMG.. it's massive!

I thought the four seasons were fire, flood, earthquake and riot?

I'm going to keep that picture and e-mail it and snail mail it to every politician in D.C. No telling what else I might do with it. Billboards or something, I dunno.

Can you imagine losing not only your house but your community? How very tragic.

I just tuned into the MSNBC web cam and saw the flames shooting into the air. Wow! I can't imagine what it's like down there. Smoke everywhere. May God strengthen the firefighers and protect them from harm!

What can I say, I'm soft when it comes to critters. They don't understand what's going on here, and don't have scanners or know when to get out.

The fire guy is saying that the fire is on the hillside and still a half mile away. . . The flames must be massive!

The firefighter that the reporter is talking to says it looks closer than it actually is...

Yikes!

I saved a bit of video last night, a fire tornado vortex that was 3x higher than the fire engine it was next to. I'll try to transfer it tonight, if I can figure out how. It's incredible.
