Father, grace the lips of those who speak for Terri .. give fire and power to ordinary words spoken by ordinary people. May these words thunder against the words that would appear so eloquent, but so hollow. Give the people ears to discern beyond the beguiling language that beckons people to an early death. Pierce the heart of the judge .. give him all wisdom and righteousness .. we pray that he is that judge who will finally give Terri the relief her family so earnestly seeks. Let no one of dark motive hold sway over her, Father, for she has suffered much. May she rest in You this night with the sweet peace of knowing that she communes with the God of all Comfort.
Strengthen Terri's mom and dad, Lord, for they have lived a nightmare far too long. Thank You that the media has turned its attention to this family's plea .. provide them with a forum and many listeners and viewers, that the people would hear the truth, and having heard, may their outrage pour out upon those who have declared a brain-injured woman, unfit to live.
