KNX 1070 AMNo streaming, but they have stories and photos and video clips there.
Someone was asking earlier -- there is a video clip of Sparky's van going up in flames. Click on "fires rage on" on the front page, and then the sidebar on the bottom right has video clips. (Windows) I didn't get it to run, I'm on a mac.

Koppel on Nightline: What to do about fire? Experts say California needs way more regulation and housing expenses aren't nearly high enough.

I saw a show of his once about the foods of California. It consisted of him going on wine country train rides and meeting up with top vineyard chefs.

Brokaw-Rather-Jennings: Get OUT of our state!!!! People are dying, losing everything!!! You miserable, sick vultures!!
Yeah, but a couple of days ago people here were complainaing that there was no coverage at all on the national news.
So, what is it? Cover it or don't cover it?

Was the van parked at the time or moving?

KOGO saying "East county areas of Julian and Cuyamanga (sp) were hit hard tonight. Fire as far south as Rt 8 at 79" in San Diego
To: Letitring
Fifty feet high? Now that is terrifying.
I can't believe the great loss of life; and there are many who have perished who will not be found for days.
And all the horses, dogs, and other pets.
This is apocalyptic.

Saying it's in the canyon at Liveoaks and goes up to Knob Hill. This sounds awful. No word at all on my friends in Arrowhead. They are smart and resouceful and probably long gone, at least I like to think so.

He'll probably get an emmy. That, unfortunately, is not a joke. He probably will. For his "bravery"

Local station KUSI is back on. They have a reporter just east of the fire on the I8. Its burning up the hills there not too far from Viejas. Fire fighters are trying to keep it from jumping the I8 to the south side of I8
To: Palladin
Yes, it is. Unimaginable in scope and the horror never ends. They are just trying to get people out of harms way.
To: Letitring
Let's hope your friends got out. All I have to worry about is a weekend cabin. People are losing their homes. Obviously, there are bigger worries than mine.
