Okay, my turn to be an idiot: Lake Arrowhead is *right there* -- NE of Strawberry. They couldn't get a plane to grab water from there and drop it on the lookout??

They didn't charge her? Wow, I had no idea. She was ID'd IMMEDIATELY, IIRC, but this story says little to nothing about the guy.

New hot spot in east lakeside by Flinn springs Fire crews are all over it had reinforcements come in so that’s good. This is part of the Blossom Valley fire that’s blowing back on it’s self.

I guess what I found confusing about tonight's network news is that they made it sound as though the main fire was still coming up the hill toward the 18. They didn't really mention, except to number the burned homes, the status of the Crestline fire. It's alarming that there's a fire burning towards Lake Arrowhead from the Twin Peaks side. Are they just spot fires?
