Now they will have to find a ride back to the station...Nope. He got over to where Kyung Lah was. He'll ride with her.

WHY ISN'T ANY MAJOR CABLE NEWS NETWORK BROADCASTING THIS?!?!CNN & MSNBC are stuck on their own egos.
I don't know what Fox's excuse is. They need their heads examined.

All of Big Bear and Sugarloaf now under mandatory evacuation order. Just heard from my sister. She is packing now. She said they have been past the house three times to tell her to leave. She is still packing. She has a pickup and trailer. No doubt filled with her stuff and anything the neighbors could not fit in their cars.

Is'nt Chuck the one who had the fire at his feet the other day?
I am sorry, I had a chuckle out the latest report.
Those reporters are so stupid, in the tornado they have to right out in the wind, in a flood they are standing in the water and now it looks like in a fire, they think they can get close enough to touch it.

The biggest loss, besides the tragic loss of life, will actually be in the lost equity the homeowners will suffer. That's an irony that will not sink in until several months down the road.
The insurance will pay for the replacement cost of the physical structures in most cases. But if a home was once worth $1 million and burned, it will probably only sell for something like $700,000 after it is rebuilt, now that the area is less desirable.

How accurate is the source on this composite sketch?

Chuck Henry probably makes a good million a year. He does syndicated travel shows in addition to his KNBC gig. He's a prick though for nearly killing his camera man. His camera man is probably pulling 45k with a family to feed.
Stevenson Ranch is back in play again. Winds shifted towards them, now the fire is just 1/2 mile away/

When I left all was fairly quiet with voluntary evacuations. I come back and see that evacuations are mandatory all the way down HWY 38 to Yucaipa -- couldn't believe it.
You were right! You had a hunch last night as the fire was moving around and then earlier Greenspot Road was closed. Last time I was on Greenspot Road, I ran over a rattlesnake and ended up with part of it (dead of course) in my engine!

Is'nt Chuck the one who had the fire at his feet the other day? Yep. I remember him from WMAQ in Chicago years ago. His ego was just as big then.
