That's an organization that knows how to lose. This guy won 93-95 games for them each year, and took them to the ALCs this year. I am sorry for Boston fans that the owners are this rash. I can almost guarantee that they will be out of it by Sept 1 next year.

The leadership(?) anyway.

The Sox won 98 out of a total of 169 games this year.

They won 3 out of 7 games in the AL finals and lost by one run in 11 innings in the last game.

And all these jerks can do is fire the coach!

Figure he'd be worth it to some other group that wants to win 93-95 games. Going to be fascinating to see how this comes back to haunt them.

Sorry, Sox fans. Still wish you well.

"This guy won 93-95 games for them each year, and took them to the ALCs this year."

The Red Sox won 93 & 95 games respectively, inspite of Grady Little's puzzling maneuvers, not because of him. The Sox had the best hitting team since the 1927 Yankees this year, and their defense at every position ranged from adequate to excellent. They also had three very good starters in Martinez, Lowe and Wakefield. The bullpen that they acquired during the year were shining stars in the post season, and the Red Sox should have won 105 games this year, not 95. All Grady Little did was to destroy the confidence of B K Kim by yanking him after getting two out in the 9th against New York at the season's end, and never using him again. Grady Little has the mentality and strategic ability of a mediocre minor league manager. Good riddence to him.
