We just got back to our house in south poway. We spent the night at a relative's house in point loma. We're trying to call friends in scripps ranch and crest just to see if an answering machine picks up but we either get just constant ringing or a strange busy signal. I fear these friends have lost their homes.
Now apparently the fire has broke out back at the sd country estates in ramona where it started yesterday. Also heard there may be a new flare up at 805 and 52. There is just no stopping this thing. I hope we can actually stay at our house today. I'm cleaning up as best I can so that our house is ready if we need to help accomodate others in need.
