Flames on the side of the 118 toward the homes have really started up again! This is getting closer to home for me... It's very, very dry and there is several year's worth of growth there.

KTLA had to move their truck along with the fire vehicles. Helicopters are now dropping water on where the fire has spread. Two helicopters now dropping. It is incredible to watch the choppers. Looks like they have two choppers assigned to this fire to get it under control as houses are really threatened.
How far are you from where the fire has crossed? You can hardly see the homes in the Simi Valley from the smoke!
