I thought it was a Hemit! Thanks! Backfire being lit at the edge of Rim Forest to try and save Rim Forest which is 18 miles from Big Bear. Rim of the World High School is a staging area. I cannot imagine driving Rim of the World at night!

God, I couldn't drive Rim of the World in the daytime! Scared the crap out of me. I lived in Highland from age 9 til I moved to San Diego to go to SDSU. Never really went back but my family is still there, in Del Rosa, which seems to have burned up over the weekend.
