I don't know how you stand it. I truly do not. Showing Scripps ranch now, homes still smouldering there, some homes left standing. Seems like they are saying the area there that burned was close to the ridge? 150 homes gone. No residents beling allowed back in. Folks, excuse my typos, please.

I am in Norman, OK now but used to live in Yucaipa -- in fact the day the Government movers loaded the truck there were fires in the hills around us with ash falling everywhere -- they would run the boxes from the house/garage right into the truck to keep the ash off of them for the move across country.

I kept boxes in the one closet ready to evacuate -- nerve racking to say the least. I cannot believe people actually build back in these canyons and still have shake roofs.

Have been listening to KFI out of LA most of the day to get reports about areas where friends are still living.
