The timing of the fires in LA County, SD County, and the power towers in Northern Cali being unbolted does not look like a coincidence.
The Santa Ana winds were forecast days ago.
I wonder if ELF or other terror groups put out the word that this weekend would be the weekend for mass arson attacks?
It's getting darker and darker outside, even with the house sealed the smell of smoke is pervasive inside. Ash is flying outside, and I'm more than 10 miles from any fires, here in Pacific Beach.

I wonder if ELF or other terror groups put out the word that this weekend would be the weekend for mass arson attacks?I'm not discounting the Eco-terror possibility entirely, but isn't this a little out of ELF's depth? I know this is a cheap and easy way for an upstart terror outfit to put itself on the map, but what's missing here is the self-promoting claim of responsibility and the eco-symbolism that usually comes with an ELF attack.
This just seems too big for them. Unless they're working with the Islamists.

The smoke is horrid in East County. Is this worse than the Laguna Fire of '70? The envirowackos should be tried then publically hung. All the little ELF bastards that is.

I'm going to give my sister a call. She is just down the road from Valhalla High School. My son is with his girlfriend around Eastlake in eastern Chula Vista. He could see the fire burning down the western slopes of Otay Mountain at 1 PM PST.

The cars were covered in ash this morning in Chula Vista. Now Im at home close to Simi Valley and there is another fire coming over the mountain just north of my house.
