Yes, they are just across the road from each other. Your sister must be in Cottonwood. If she's in the middle of the tract she should be fine. My sis is in the middle, it's the ones on the perimeter that have the most exposure.
RE: Commercial buildings in San Diego. I was at my real estate class near 163 & Clairemont Mesa Blvd. and they cancelled the class due to the fire. As far as I know no commercial buildings (other than camps) have burned.

If you see flames, it's time to get ready. Quit freeping, get packing, and God Bless.

Geraldo is covering a California story!!!!!!!!!
Tommy Chong's bong sentence. Not kidding.

Better yet, we should call our congress critters and have them put the station owners in front of a committee, lecturing them, what a lovely profit they make from the leasing of the public airways, and the obligations that this priviledge entails. Nice picture but they won't .. their too chicken
And I agree about the local stations.
What I am reading of what has happened to the folks is CA is unbelievable

So I wonder if there will be an attendance at that game? Considering about 14,000 people show up for Cardnials games.

Stay safe !!

I was at my real estate class near 163 & Clairemont Mesa Blvd. What a day! You missed school, and the plane crash on the 163 on the same day! The guy over-shot Montgomery, apparently, came down right behind Fire station 28 where all the strike teams are forming. Well, if you gotta crash a plane, guess that's the spot to do it.
To: Mo1
Kobe should do us a favor, and speed into the fire zones, and let the police give chase. It really is the only answer.
To: Mo1
If there were a fire at Kobe's house...all the networks would be on it.
To: ArmstedFragg
Did the guy in the light plane crash get out, or burn to death?
Any other day that would be the lead local story, tonight it's a footnote.

Kobe's in Newport. My daughter is a server at Red Robin in Fashion Island. She served Kobe and his wife a take-out order the other day. I am surprised it didn't make the tabloids.

The Red Robin pot roast burger is the best... Yum! The onion rings are pretty good too.

Did the guy in the light plane crash get out, or burn to death? These are San Diego news people, remember? So.... it depends on which station you watch. Seriously. One station reported the pilot was killed, the next station interviewed him. "You twists your dial and you takes your choice."
To: ArmstedFragg; Travis McGee
The pilot walked away from the crashed plane. Lucky devil
To: ArmstedFragg
Tried to get the fate of the mishap pilot but got an alpaca commercial instead?...Go figure!

Kobe ordered burgers. My wife and I went there today, she had the turkey wrap and I had the chicken fajita salad.
