I heard the same thing - that he had to end his mother's life as she lay dying...

He became a nurse he says to take care of Terri but other things got in the way....

I heard him say that he "had" to do this to both his parents. I believe he was speaking to a sympathetic caller at the time, who said she had been through this with a parent.
